Fichte or Fool of Fortune

He had to look after the geese,
He had to go to church:
He repeated in front of the geese
The whole sermon he had heard;
A learned man passed by, listening to the talent,
and paid the young man a good education.
The educated man wrote a book,
that was edited by Kant
1,
So everybody thought the philosopher had written it;
The truth was told, and Johann Gottlieb Fichte
2 became famous.
Today we can discuss Fichte's socialism and Karl Marx,
Thanks to the geese, or thanks to the parson,
Or thanks to the learned man, or thanks to Immanuel Kant?

The Poet's Last Book

The Nobel Prize winner1 had survived WWⅡ
in his lonely house in the remote mountains.
Another poet
2 having survived the War in Moscow
visited the old man with some Soviet officers:
Sitting in his armchair, his white hair like a crown,
having on his knees a thick book-"CHINA".
(A few months later, he was dead:
Nobody knows whether he ever read the whole book.)
