中翻英--对岸的母亲 文/小海

   
在我愣神的当儿
母亲横穿过车流
站在大街对岸凝视着我
       
当她离开我
而将我的身体留在这儿
我是多么担惊受怕
这些车辆对她来说
全是移动的精灵
既不可触摸
又不能停下
让我马上想到
上涨的河水
       
我的母亲
离开我的搀扶
独个儿穿过了马路
 
                     
Mother On Opposite Side Of The Street

           
In my daze

Mother cuts through the flowing car

Stands to stare at me

On opposite side of the street


When she leaves me

Yet my body left here

How surprised

To suffer fear I am!

For her, these vehicles

Are all mobile fairies

Mustn’t touch, nor stop

Which brings rising river
To my mind



Off support

With my hand, my mother

Has crossed the street
