Since ancient times, scholars are capable to manage the state affairs
Bellyful with statecrafts and rich of wonderful, valuable articles
May sacrifice my life for the society and for the people
Be loyal and righteous to let justice raise and be prevailing
Kindness of a drop of water should be repaid with pouring of spring
Exhaust all my blood without extravagant wishes
If I get a chance to take part in national affairs
I would justify the policies and let the heaven and earth be clear and clean
Note: it’s one of the inset poems in my novel “The Lost Mankind”

为世为民愿捐躯 ，忠肝义胆正气扬。
滴水之恩涌泉报 ，心血竭尽无奢望。

似乎Bellyful是很少用于褒义 呵呵
