The magnificent twin towers in New York
With an attitude of great proud
Looked down upon the mobs’ huts in the rest parts of the world
Not long after the beginning of the new century
A thunderbolt burst all of a sudden
Explosive human beings with no fear piloted planes
Firelight flashed and smoke arose
Treasures and stones were all burnt
The lives, with the huge buildings, clashed down to the ground
Who were those attackers?
So brutal !
For what hatred?
So cruel !
Arbitrariness was the main cause of the disaster
It’s not unique, must has its counterpart
Contest for resources urges the undercurrent of enmity
Culture conflicts bring upon more worries to the human society
I can only sigh for the mortal
Better to concern the future of us mankind

2001年9月11日，美国纽约世贸双塔遭恐怖分子劫持的客机撞击，数千无辜生命连同巍峨的大厦归于涂炭，当时情景直播于电视，令人目瞪口呆。此事件揭示了人类社会隐藏着重大的危机，预示人类在新世纪将会面临巨大的挑战。
世贸双塔，
傲全球，
俯视蛮尤。
新世纪，
开元未几，
忽爆霹雳。
肉弹铁鹰全无惧，
火光一闪浓烟起。
玉石焚，
生灵随巨楼，
夷平地。
袭击者，
是何人？
绝人寰，
为何仇？
霸道是祸首，
无独有偶。
资源争夺涌暗流，
文明冲突更堪忧。
叹人类，
当自问前程，
存与否？
