●WenChuan
by Sha Guo
WenChuan, day and night I clear up your relics
Poetic scalpels are words and expressions
How I expect that the surgery is a cosmetology
And isn’t used to sew up your body
Everyone is startled at your large wound
I haven’t the heart to use coarse lines and suture needles
You feel no pain when you are in pain
But I am lancinated with pain
Although we meet each other in the mischance
I don’t want to know you
Even you are clay and I am a breath
Without the catastrophe forsooth
I should make use of right rhetoric and punctuations
And we should finish the operation
The sky will be bright gradually
The dawn on our faces shines warmly
