On Earthquake (No. FF016)
The earthquake, having happened in Sichuan, was a great event in China this year. More than 60 thousand people died and numerous common people hurt. The losses brought by the earthquake was immeasurable at all. However, thousands of kind people, from the famous to the unknown, noble to humble, showed great concern about everything that happened in Sichuan every day. Not only this, they also spontaneously collected donations to distribute them to the epicenter on time. Meanwhile, in the charge of the government, many supplies, soldiers and doctors were orderly sent to earthquake areas. Soon after the shock our Prime Minister, Hu Jintao, flied to visit hard hit earthquake regions and encouraged all the people there, which moved all the nation. Even the media abroad thought highly of our efficiency and reaction to the tragedy.
In addition, some problems such as jerry-built projects emerged during this disaster, which remained to be solved.
