The Vermin of the Earth

We are humankind
An unusual lucky species, dominator of the earth, king of the world
We are humankind
Super-selfish, super-greedy, and super-mad

My home-earth, my private garden
Beautiful and rich, merciful and kind
Prepared for us with nutritious banquets of various vegetations and animals
And gifts and treasures of gold, silver, oil, coal and numerous minerals
We cook, eat, drink, and suck;
We dig, cut, drill and excavate
We have had so much so we become so fat
We are very happy and very glad but never feel enough and satisfied

My home-earth, my private garden
Too many people, too crowded, and too congested
We have to snatch more resources for our well-off and existence
The more, the better
To be safe, it’s a must to overthrow rivals and opponents
Grasp, snatch, steal, loot, fight, and kill
Clean out alike species, squeeze the earth
We are all good fighters, and we are skillful experts

As long as I myself  live a rich life
Who cares the offspring?
As long as I myself have enough food today
Who cares tomorrow and after days?

吃呀，喝呀，挖呀，刨呀
撕皮嚼肉，敲骨吸髓
我们个个吃得肚儿溜圆，脑满肠肥

地球家园，人满为患，拥挤不堪，
要生存就得攫取更多资源，多多益善，
要安全就得明争暗斗把别人搞倒推翻，
夺呀，抢呀，打呀，杀呀，
扫荡同类，追杀地球
我们个个能征善战，而且身手不凡

只要自己今生好，哪管什么子孙和后代
今日有酒今朝醉，哪管什么明天和后天
