The Moon Rises over Los Angeles

In the twilight Interchange,

Going both ways in the night city belly,

The passage of light end to end.

From the Griffith Observatory,

A mysterious Silver Mirror Man,

Bouncing the world lights back and forth.  

Whilst on the tempering glasses the moon glows,

For the fair Beverly Hills,

It strums a banjo up to the last string.

The offscreen voice and,

The graceful beauty of rhythm,

Monroe circling round like a ballerina now.

Seductive glinting of a shimmering halo,

Do not articulate the curious pulses,

A whitish figure loitering there.

In the zone of complete loneliness,

Angel sees through surreal an eye,

Luminosity shall soothe the trembling heart.

Moonbeams shall through all gentle souls entrance,

Irises to night's eye-mind,

Singing hymns unbidden as well.

Reaching out clasping arms,

Off the shores of Venice Beach,

Luna accordingly effects the sea's ebb and flow.

比佛利、

燕环栖翼。

画外音、

促管繁弦，

梦露宛然当昔。

沾洒茫茫夜幕，

电射信号远，

飘忽柔熠。

绮缀长悬，

天使乘槎，

鼓弄阴晴六律。

清霄月魄羞难掩，

鸢尾识、

吟怀恬谧。

绰约影、

风度前滩，

挑引往来潮汐。

Notes:

"Interchange": The Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange is a stack interchange near the Athens and Watts communities of Los Angeles, California, United States. The interchange permits traffic entering the interchange in all directions to exit in all directions.

"Silver Mirror Man": The Mirror Man of Los Angeles may just be the most amazing street performer we’ve seen yet. The mirror man masks his entire body in hundreds of mirrors, a suit that covers his person from head to toe. The result is a stunning, reflective being that bounces the light of the world right back upon its viewer.

"Monroe": Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, comedienne, singer, and model. She became one of the world's most enduring iconic figures and is remembered both for her winsome embodiment of the Hollywood sex symbol and her tragic personal and professional struggles within the film industry.

"Angel"：City of Angels (1998) . This is the story of Seth, an angel who wanders the Los Angeles area invisible to humans. As the demise of an individual approaches, he spends time near them and becomes visible while acting as their traveling companion during their trip to the great hereafter. His discovery of distraught heart surgeon Maggie inspires him to forego his immortality and exist on earth with her as a feeling and mortal entity.

"Irises": Each one of Van Gogh's irises is unique. He carefully studied their movements and shapes to create a variety of curved silhouettes bounded by wavy, twisting, and curling lines.

"Venice Beach": Venice Beach is one of the most interesting and popular sights in Los Angeles. Venice hosts artists, palm readers, bikini-clad roller skaters, belly dancers, vendors, street performers and of course bodybuilders.
