To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, ’tis a consummation

裘克安：至于朱（生豪）译“生存还是毁灭”，孙（大雨）译“是存在还是消亡”，太书本气，变成一个理论问题，我想是不妥的。梁（实秋）译“死后还是存在，还是不存在”，这是他的理解错误；观下文可知哈姆莱特相信人死后有灵魂，害怕死后还会受苦难。卞（之琳）译“活下去还是不活”，略显拗口。方（平）译“活着好，还是死了好”，似乎两者都好，不过一个更好，这样生和死的对比就不那么绝对化了。

2010年2月11日，青岛，大雪封门。写出大意，不为掠美。
生还是死，正是这个问题：默默忍受无常命运的毒枪暗箭，或是奋然拿起武器，反抗灾患的汪洋大海，并通过斗争将其消弭，这两种心态，孰更高贵？死了，睡着了——仅此而已；要是我们睡一觉就能结束满心的伤痛，以及肉体所依附的万千打击，这正是我们虔心祈求的结局。死了，睡着了；睡着了，可能还会做梦；唉，麻烦来了......
