埃里克·克莱普顿Eric Clapton：英国吉他手、歌手和作曲家。他曾经获得过葛莱美奖，是20世纪最成功的音乐家之一，在摇滚名人堂里有三项成就。他是有史以来最伟大的吉他手之一，2003年在滚石杂志评选的一百大吉他手位列第四，在百大摇滚艺术家里面排名53位，他还是不列颠帝国勋章获得者。虽然埃里克·克莱普顿的曲风多变，但是他的大部分作品还是基于布鲁斯风格。他是一个音乐的改革者，他的主要贡献包括布鲁斯摇滚（在「约翰·梅奥尔和布鲁斯破坏者乐队」期间）以及迷幻摇滚（在「奶油乐队」期间）。他还成功地从Delta布鲁斯（代表作「我和约翰先生」）音乐风格转向流行音乐（代表作「改变世界」）和雷鬼乐（代表作「我射杀警长」）。
