浓浓的绿意

◎仓央嘉措，庙宇或雪山　　文/ 海的割耳
一想到这个人写情诗的地方
就是念经的地方。想到他的诗集
句句仰面朝天，发出的光
能照亮菩萨的底座。想到每个字
都走遍僧袍
走遍雪山，和菩萨相对无语
我就觉得爱情的虚实、冷热、奉献和赐予
和庙宇的钟声没有区别
　
如果写诗有用，如果
背诵菩萨语录有用，就不会有
药方。不会有列阵而出的
植物根茎。吃苦有用论的实验
不知何时结束。不知匍匐多少来回
一个破碎的姓名，才会预约给鹰
　
你看这雪山，从海面仰望它
它看起来多小啊。再看这庙宇
坐姿严谨的菩萨在天上，用一枚雪花
考察它的光，它看起来多小啊
　　
菩萨端坐多年，双腿发麻
不知道手下人管理的雪山和庙宇
成为一首情诗的门牌号，是幸福或不幸福
但我的回信会装一包海水，它能认出
担任庙宇脊梁骨的石头，曾是一群牡蛎依附之地
雪山上的雪，是盐

As I think of the place where the man wrote love poems and
Recited his scriptures, his collection of poems will come to my mind
Every poetic line turns its face towards the sky, emitting light
To illuminate the Bodhisattva’s pedestal. Every word
Walks around the monk robe and travels
Through the snow mountain, but it is speechless before the Bodhisattva.
I bet, everything for love—falsehood, reality; heat, coldness; offering or bestowal
Almost equals to sounds made by the monastic bells.
If it is of use to compose poems, if it is serviceable
To say Bodhisattva quotations by heart, there should be no
Prescriptions of herbal medicine, and there should be no arrays of
Plant rootstocks. It is unknown how long the experiment on bearing hardship
Lasts, how many rounds of lying prostrate back and forth,
And when a broken name makes a final appointment with eagles.
If you look up at the snow mountain from the sea level,
How small it appears. Now turn your sight to the monastery.
Sitting in the heaven with a precise posture, the Bodhisattva use a snowflake
To inspect its Buddhist brightness. How small it appears.
The Bodhisattva sits up for many years with his legs numbed,
Unaware that the mountain monastery managed by his servants
Changes into a house number to a love poem. Is he happy or uneasy?
But I’ll send a answer letter with a packet of sea water. He is to recognize
The rocks serving as the monastery’s backbone—an ancient habitat for oysters
And the snow on the mountain is original salt.
