卞和献玉反招灾　　
楚霸轻韩不识才　　
俗眼焉知飞兔马　　
却嫌未若老驴乖　　
The Ability to Perceive
　
He who presented a fine jade was surprised by the calamities followed
He who failed to identify rare talent dismissed a future general
A commoner without the discerning eye to recognize a thousand-li steed
Complained about the horse being not as easy to command as an old donkey
