　　朋友，就当我只是一个影子
　　My friend, just see me as a shadow

　　朋友 我只是一朵寂寞的火焰
　　远离了人世的岸
　　只有荒漠的月光 会看到我的行踪
　　与你对面的 只是一个影子
　　当你想握住他的手
　　世界会突然消失了温度
　　My friend, I’m just a lonely fire,
　　Being far away from the shore of men’s world,
　　Only visible to the moon over the desert.
　　All in your eyes is the shadow of mine,
　　And once in your hands,
　　There’d be no heat, all of a sudden.
　　因为桥梁 我穿越过你淌着温热的心野
　　那些纯净的花朵 让我知道
　　流星最后的那滴眼泪 也曾为我而落
　　所以 你我无需感激或者道歉
　　也无需期待用玫瑰编织的花环
　　当你第一千次付出真诚
　　我只是一次献上整个生命
　　Through the bridges, I’ve travelled your warm heart’s field,
　　And those pure flowers have left me the message
　　That the meteors have shed for me their last teardrop.
　　So we don’t have to say thanks or apologies,
　　Or long for the garland woven with roses.
　　When you open up for the thousandth time,
　　What I have to give once for all is my whole life.
　　嫉妒或者回报不过是一次误解
　　我遍体鳞伤 也曾打碎老诗人内心的安宁
　　就让不可一世的刚强柔弱成水 锋利的刀刃
　　怎能断得了河流
　　再多的金币又如何比得上一世的真诚
　　Jealousy, or sensitivity, was nothing but a mistake,
　　And I suffered all over when I broke an old poet’s peace of mind.
　　So, my friend, just let the extremely strong be like weak water---
　　How could one call stop to a stream with the sharp sword,
　　And with how much gold could one buy a lifelong true heart?
　　朋友 前方就是道别的渡口
　　不用回头 也不要挽留
　　只借一阵清风
　　送我万里行舟
　　Here we are at the crossing to say goodbye.
　　Don’t turn around, or urge me to stay.
　　My friend, just see me off on a boat
　　Disappearing in a cool breeze.

　　诗人，你要告诉人们你所听到的声音
　　Poet, you must tell them what you hear
　　By Zhou Yuan
　　诗人 你要倾听这个世界
　　雷鸣 风暴 倾盆的泪
　　疯狂悲鸣之后的沉寂
　　Poet, you must listen to this world---
　　The thunders, the storms, the showering tears,
　　And the dead silence of desperate cries.
　　他们怒吼着什么
　　又默默远去
　　They have howled something,
　　And hushed in the distance.
　　灾害 狼藉 废墟和死亡
　　他们并没有阅读 匆匆以此
　　盖章
　　Disasters, chaos, ruins and deaths,
　　They haven’t read, but hurried by
　　With a seal.
　　我们预备了灾难 就像
　　日益尖锐的警察
　　感染狂犬杆菌的城管
　　校长把女儿的贞洁祭献给权力金钱
　　We have prepared our own pains, say,
　　A cop who has been increasingly bitter,
　　A watchman who has affected with rabies,
　　And a headmaster trading his daughter’s virginity for power and gold.
　　诗人 你要告诉人们闪电已转身而去
　　再多的纸包不住烈火的种子
　　官吏只会举着灰烬的数据
　　Poet, you must tell them that the lightning has gone,
　　That no amounts of papers could package the seeds of a burning fire,
　　And that the government officials are merely holding the data of ashes.
　　张口叹息的土地 谁
　　在赤炎中倍感阴寒
　　When the earth utters a sign,
　　And who feels the chilly cold in scorching heat.
　　地震 断裂 滑坡 爆炸如此均匀
　　防不胜防 只有那些过后无奈
　　进场
　　Earthquakes, breakages, landslides, bombings, are so regular,
　　So impossible to prevent that we are helpless but to ask for rescues
　　After all these happenings.
　　贪婪制造出两极的世界
　　财富终会愚蠢里倒下
　　收刮所得到的只是雷霆
　　庄稼日益拒绝着土地
　　A greedy heart enjoys no peace,
　　And the material wealth fades in stupidity;
　　A miser meets only with thunders,
　　Even crops refuse to grow in his land.
　　诗人 你要告诉人们你所听到的声音
　　金钱和妓女出卖着乡村
　　腐败和贪婪祸害着这个国度
　　你要告诉人们 你所听到大地的呻吟
　　雷霆的震怒
　　Poet, you must tell them what you hear---
　　Money and hookers are trading the country,
　　Corruption and greed are destroying the nation;
　　You must tell them you’ve heard the earth’s groans
　　And the thunders in a rage.
