Tune: Sand-Sifting Waves Song
Color of Night on the Indian Ocean
By William He
Pellucid gleam, Rising within depths of being, Folding wind and swell. Under a star burning sky, Soma hides behind color of night, The illuminating and visionary beam. Artemis' Chariot casts its luminescent rays on. In the salt chuckle of rocks, All mortal beings only a drop. As the riddle of the Sphinx, Aldabra which the waves draw back, A wilderness with shattered mirrors well nigh.
The whale blows. Ebb and Eddie of tidy current, Lasureous billows are surging, Great Classics gone into the watery maze. It is a melancholy sound of veena, And the abyssal benthos coming,
Near colonnades of coral reef. Lemuria is steeped in legend, Not even a Cape-comarin breath in the dark. On the glistening surface,
A myth of creation is painting, Transience and brilliant vibrance now.
In the strangest isle lively, The Crown starts to indulge himself, Listening to the tune of bells of pearl. Whispering the Dodo in the morning, He portages across Selene at night, Who takes leave of merman rolling in the deep.

Note: "Soma": In Hindu mythology, Soma represents the god of the Moon. He is depicted riding through the sky in a chariot drawn by white horses. Soma was also the name of the elixir of immortality that only the gods can drink. "Artemis' Chariot": Artemis' Chariot also known as the Moon Chariot, is made of silver and pulled by four golden reindeer. Before Artemis became goddess of the moon, the Titaness Selene owned the moon chariot, which she drove across the sky at night. "Sphinx": A Sphinx was a mythical monster, which had the head of a human and the body of a lion. The Riddle of the Sphinx is probably the most famous riddle from antiquity. It has its origins in a familiar story from Greek literature, in particular the Theban trilogy by Sophocles. Sphinxes also appeared in Egyptian mythology; the two cultures had tight links and had considerably influenced each other. "Eddie" : Eddie (1996). Whoopi Goldberg plays Eddie, a New York City limo driver and Knicks superfan. After having the opportunity to assistant coach the team, the owner fires the head coach and gives the position to Eddie, who plans to lead the team to victory. "Lemuria": One of the oldest surviving civilizations.Lemuria was apparently the only continent where modern man dwelt half a million years ago.During the Pre-Cataclysmic Age (from about 100,000 until the Great Cataclysm), Lemuria remained one of the great continents of its era, and was ruled mostly by the Deviants and their human slaves. "Cape-comarin" : Rocky headland on the Indian Ocean in Tamil Nadu state, southeastern India, forming the southernmost point of the subcontinent. It is the southern tip of the Cardamom Hills, an extension of the Western Ghats range along the west coast of India. "Dodo" : An extinct flightless bird of Mauritius (an island of the Indian Ocean), one of the three species that constituted the family Raphidae, usually placed with pigeons in the order Columbiformes but sometimes separated as an order. "Selene": Selene was the Titan goddess of the moon. She was depicted as a woman riding sidesaddle on a horse or driving a chariot drawn by a pair of winged steeds. Her lunar sphere or crescent was either a crown set upon her head or the fold of a raised, shining cloak.
