秋词（之一）
刘禹锡（唐）

自古逢秋悲寂寥，
我言秋日胜春潮。
清空一鹤排云上，
便引诗情到碧霄。

Song of Autumn

Since olden times autumn has been described in a lonely way,
But I would love to say it's better than the spring day.
In the sunshine a crane cleaves the clouds and soars high,
Which leads my poetic inspiration to the azure sky.
