You are so tall and straight
Directly towering into the skies
Appearing to be you
Metasequoia is not as red-hearted and firm-grained
You have deep roots in motley stones
However cruel the autumn wind is
And however hard the snow and rain
While alive, you stay light green,elegant and forceful
Till dead, you remain shouldering the roof beam
