注：
第一行最后一个单词应该是spray。
第三节有版本没有载入。
第一节最后一行，were有版本用are, 如陈嘉的英国文学史4。
第二节blank的意思是苍白。
第二节bleed的意思是褪色。
此诗多用头韵。

很好的诗。翻译有时候为了押韵，损失了一些东西。
Then we looked closelier at Time ,then的味道没译出来；Time大写了，是指当下的时代、社会，正好与prime押韵。

Time在这里让人联想到命运。这里Time是一个挥动着镰刀的形象，见希腊神话。
另外，woeful things with prime。这里的with，是along with，‘连同’。也就是说时间横扫的不只是忧伤，连青春也不放过。

在古希腊，弑父娶母等乱伦关系是很正常的。富有的家族很多是近亲结婚，来防止财产和地位的流失。
