Moonlit Night on the Dnieper

The black grass and the high river,
The pits of air and the gulf of space,
An Echo Spirit floating in the illuminating beam.
Tryst with the emotional moon,
A prism on glass-green water in the night.
Along damp chambers of the air,
Moonlit sparkles the fantasy,
A canoe floats upside down on the Milky Way,
Magnificent opals on the mature birch leaves.
Drinking deep the magic charms,
The Being beneath its fanciful disguise now.

Pouring the luminous fluxes,
Layered colors in the grape green streams.
Light and shadows circle,
Signaling every crystal cluster to its place.
Lying beside the shining Fount of Life,
Pistac clouds drift across Selene's face.
The glowing wheel whirling,
Cherry checkers with moonlit and shade.
The brightness with a hope,
Variegated threads dive into verdancy then.
A sontata for watery gleam,
Lulled by virtually unheard melody,
One half awake beholds a sleeper's dream.

对残河迷晦。

溢蟾盘、
万斛青葡坠。
调圆晕、
荡漾光波会。
云幕画廊投影，
立中宵阴翳。
转冰轮、
两岸樱桃睡。
俱能照、
斑陆离榛卉。
时飘落、
景夜黎明，
梦徽尘倚事。


Notes:
“Moonlit Night on the Dnieper”: A landscape by the Russian artist Arkhip Kuindzhi, painted in 1880. It was a milestone in landscape painting such as "War and Peace" in the literature or, for example, "Citizen Kane" in film. The painting amazed the viewers with its realistic moonlight reflected from the Dnieper.
“Echo”: Echo was an Oread in Greek mythology, a mountain nymph that lived on Mount Kithairon. The curse of Hera Zeus was quite attracted to nymphs and often visited them. Hera, his wife, jealous of his various affairs, followed him trying to catch him. However, Echo would engage Hera in long-winded conversations, giving the time to Zeus to evade her.
“Milky Way”: The Milky Way is a large barred spiral galaxy. All the stars we see in the night sky are in our own Milky Way Galaxy. Our galaxy is called the Milky Way because it appears as a milky band of light in the sky when you see it in a really dark area.

"The Being": The Being (1981) directed by Jackie Kong, with Martin Landau, Marianne Gordon, etc. A mutated creature is wreaking havoc in a small town in Idaho. A police chief and a government scientist team up to save their rural town from its menace.

“Fount of Life”: Fount of Life is united in faith by the word of God. We proclaim the Gospel to gather souls, nurture believers and encourage Christian Living. We are a growing congregation of families dedicated to the Lord's service.
“Sontata”: A composition for an instrumental soloist, often with a piano accompaniment, typically in several movements with one or more in sonata form.
