友人会宿

李白

涤荡千古愁，
留连百壶饮。
良宵宜清谈，
皓月未能寝。
醉来卧空山，
天地即衾枕。

Lodging with My Friend

To wash away grief of thousands of years old,

We linger over wine that hundreds of pots hold.

So ideal is a tete-a-tete for such a nice night,

No way can be sleepy in the bright moonlight.

When inebriated we lie on the empty mountain,

The sky and earth as quilt and pillow for certain.

    The idle talk is suitable for the beautiful night,
    How can we fall asleep under th moon so bright.
    We lie on the empty mountain as drunk we grow,
    The sky and earth serve as our quilt and pillow.

清谈，我认为自娱兄用的tete-a-tete要比字典中能够查到的idle talk和empty talk都好，实际上最合适的英文应该是small talk。

其实用‘chit-chat' 也可以的。
