   乡思                    Home longing

人言落日是天涯，                        Some said there's the sun's home at the end of sky,
望极天涯不见家。                        Where I gaze on, however can’t see mine.
已恨碧山相隔阻，                        I hate the green mountains that bar my eye,
碧山还被暮云遮。                        O they're even veiled by the dusk clouds fine!
【译文大意
有人说天的尽头是太阳的家，
我望向那儿，却没看见我的家。
我恨青山挡住了我的目光，啊！
就连青山也被可恨的暮云遮住了！】

Green hills are hated to obstruct my sight,    可恨的青山隔断了我的视线，  被动语态句式，不佳
They are still veiled by clouds in twilight.     他们仍被暮云遮住了。             平铺直叙

Where I look on and on, yet see no hometown.
I hate those blue mountains to block my eyes,
But they're also drowned in dusk cloud brown.
