灯前半宿泛书海
翡翠宫门犹未开
一道电光忽闪过
骊龙捧献宝珠来
沉思
桌前扶首静双眸
中外古今细探求
电闪雷鸣浑不晓
太平洋底正神游
老马
戗毛老马骨支棱
独卧槽头抖北风
谁想当年曾健劲
奔腾嘶啸冠群雄

Sudden Enlightenment (another two poems)
I sail in the books afore the lamp till midnight;
The gate of the Emerald Palace does not open.
Suddenly a beam of lightning flashes so bright,
A precious pearl is offered by the black dragon.
Meditation
Before the desk supporting my head with silent eyes,
I’m pursuing the treasures at all times and in all lands.
Totally unaware of thunder and lightning in the skies,
I’m probing the Pacific Ocean with my mental hands.
An Old Horse
The old horse is skinny with the ragged hair,
Facing north wind, it alone lies in the stable.
Actually in its prime it was strong and fair,
Galloping and neighing were unsurpassable!
