倩影
Beautiful Image
西苑偶相逢,
倩影魂梦中。
借问林间风,
何处觅芳踪?
In the west garden I came across her,
My dream gets haunted by her grace.
I beg the breeze in the trees to answer,
Where could I find her fragrant trace?

采纳黄新渠老师意见,改译如下:
A chance encounter in the West Garden,
Your graceful image lingers in my dream.
Let me ask the breeze through the trees,
Where could I find your fragrant beam?

A nice poem indeed. May I suggest to polish it in this way: A
chance encounter in the West Garden, Her graceful image stays
in my dream. (huant often goes with th ghosts or spirits!)

Mr. Huang, thanks for your kind advice. Yeah, "haunt" often goes with ghosts and spirits, but this word has another meaning "return to the mind repeatedly", such as "a haunting melody/face" (from Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary of Current English), so I use "the dream is haunted by the face".
