鸟鸣涧 （唐）王维
人闲桂花落，①夜静春山空。②
月出惊山鸟，③时鸣春涧中。④

【注释】
①闲：悠闲，寂静。这里含有人声静寂的意思。 桂花：木犀的通称。
有的春天开花，有的秋天开花。
②空：空虚。这时形容山中寂静，无声，好像空无所有。
③惊：惊动，惊扰。
④时鸣：不时地鸣叫。

And mountain spring merges with a serene night.
Lo, some birds are startled by the rising moon,
In a dale of spring, they fitfully croon.
