【汉诗英译】一张纸——龙 泉

        一 张 纸            
           
                                                                           龙 泉       
        一张纸可以写最美的文字
        一张纸可以决定一个人的命运
        当纸和铅字结合在一起
        背后肯定有一台操纵的机器
        以及一批操纵机器的人
        这些人躲在幕后
        将一张纸涂涂改改
        将一台机器弄得脏兮兮
        一张纸其实没有什么
        了不起，放在我的手里
        只能写一些无用的诗句
       
        A Piece of Paper

       The most beautiful words can be written on a piece of paper
        One's fate can be decided by a piece of paper
        When the paper and the type are connected
        A machine is surely controlling them behind
        Some people are also manipulating the machine
        These people are hiding behind the curtain
        Also spreading and rewriting on the paper
        Also making the machine dirty
        In fact, a piece of paper is not important
        At most if it is in my hand
        I can only write some useless poetic sentences on it

我想简化一下，您看咋样：
A machine is surely controlling them behind
And so are some people behind the machine   (省略了controlling，免得重复）

谢谢晚枫君！从英语的地道和简洁来看，改用你这句很好。
但现在我又有另一考虑了：诗歌有时“重复”也是一种有意，起强调作用。这里两个“操纵”，分层递进，作者是有意的。暂时不动，想想再说。
