◎达尼人部落 文/ 翟文熙
在大溪谷和雨林深处，达尼人
是鹰、猎豹和嗜血的勇士
头戴鹭鸶羽毛，脸挂野猪獠牙，身涂豹纹。达尼人
手执淬毒的长矛或弓箭，像狼群一样扑向丛林中的风吹草动
一秒钟内，我血管里奔跑的麋鹿被杀死
在蘑菇一样的茅草房，我的内心，死与生
开始跟着达尼人的舞姿挣扎。扭动的光屁股
拥挤的口哨、短促的鼓点、挥舞的长矛，模仿野兽的呼叫声
达尼人，把原始的盛典献给死去的猎物和祖先
像豹子一样勇猛的达尼族男人，他们之中的一个将在今夜死去
他的女人，举起石斧，砍下一节手指
脸上涂上黄木槿树根的黑汁，剩下的余生
像她裸露的乳房一样干瘪，萎缩。

In Grand Gully deep in the rainforest live the Dani people
Eagles, leopards and bloodthirsty warriors
Egret plumages crowned, boar teeth from their mouths, their bodies
painted leopard spots, Dani members
Armed with poisoned spears, bows and arrows, jump like wolves
on any sign of disturbance in the jungle
In a flash, the deer running in my blood veins are killed
In a mushroom-like thatched house, my heart, dead or alive
Starts wrestling with their dancing movements--wriggling
bare buttocks
Jumbly whistles, fast drumbeats, spears brandishing, and
imitated wild calls
The Dani hold primitive ceremonies for hunting activities
and their ancestors
One of the intrepid Dani man is dying tonight
His wife is to raise a stone axe and cut part of her finger
Then her face smeared black with hibiscus juice. For her
remaining years
The woman goes withering, wizened like her naked breasts
