Sitting was I almost sleeping

Sitting was I almost sleeping, sleeping by the stream
It was just around noon, noon when the sun is high
Gone I to fetch some water, water from the stream
Lore I to sit was a shade, shade made only of nature’s style
This stream side was so cold, cold as to apiece any soul
Fresh cold air it seemed, seemed rising from this stream
Refreshing, it got me sitting, sitting almost too good a dream
For places such are sacred areas, areas for true love to hatch
I found such in her heart, her heart was where I had gone to fetch
The was a lovely lonely bunch, bunch of beautiful lilies
Just by the water bank did grow, grow these water lilies
Seem most of them were coming, coming from the stream
Dance they with slender bodies, bodies wash by the stream
My eyes caught their heads white, white, of the lilies’ petals
This did mark a spot white, white shining attractive petal
The bank was made of a mosaic, a mosaic of green grass
Which made these lilies real bright, bright as to lore most who pass
Realize was too good a stream, stream such, many visit as they pass
My head gradually turned, turned towards some new visitors
See them come flattery floating, floating these new visitors
A dozen white and yellow, yellow white lovely butterflies
Slowly up and down they fly, fly them side to side these flies
As if by an invisible ripple wave, wave them towards the stream
It was the lilies’ white pulling, pulling them to my lovely stream
They all dance to a silent song, song played by the lilies dance
Me they did not seem to notice, notice or care, as on they dance
My heart, broken by their beauty, beauty to which I stand no chance
Thought I had found a stream, a stream so sweet to savor
Alone, but did forget, forget things this sweet had nice flavor
So many will be drawn, drawn by the flavor of my treasure
Which cleared up why, why these many visitors for sure
Some must surely have come, come taste and drink before me
And many more will come, come after if I ever let her be
But I ‘m ready to fight defend, defend keep her to till my end
For sacred areas are so scares, so scares these days to find a friend
And such as her beauty, beauty is to be preserved my friend

栖于溪旁我快要入梦乡
将近正午看那高高太阳
我去汲水在那条小溪旁
我要坐下享用自然阴凉
溪水寒冷使我黯然神伤
凉气升腾升起在溪水上
精神振奋我心中怀梦想
地域神圣真爱诞生身旁
爱居其心我追寻的地方
一片荷花可爱孤单漂亮
卧在水边有些睡莲生长
来自何方就在这水中央
翩翩起舞被这溪水荡漾
凝眸观看花瓣洁白闪亮
花瓣迷人白嫩闪烁光芒
河岸绿草像马赛克装潢
河边行人在睡莲中徜徉
美丽溪水令人驻足观赏
徐徐转头我见新客来访
看这荷花对客谄媚飘扬
蝴蝶飞舞美丽白白黄黄
上下左右蝶儿缓缓飞翔
似被不见波纹送至溪旁
恰是白荷引蝶儿来此方
蝶儿飞舞伴花无声歌唱
无暇顾我他们舞步飞扬
我心已破碎彷徨无希望
想这溪水散发甜蜜芳香
孤独回想甜蜜芳香难忘
太多东西吸引心中宝藏
使我明白访客为何这样
有人曾经先我来此品尝
以后也有人来如是这样
但我意已决作最后抵抗
曾经朋友在这神圣地方
她的美丽在我心中珍藏
