Music (Sonnet IX)
Go wild the whirls of those improvised notes
Free flies wit, a cageling out on wings
Of white plumes gliding wide, the aged dream floats
A dancing darling fairily on strings
With broken pizzicatos heart in dark
Pianos sink the slow and forlorn days
Of muted sounds vibratos never spark
The barely noticed and tremulous gaze
Now ripples of the rill winding the trees
The brook gurgles a few fresh tingling tones
On white waves of sky who could grab and seize
The long lost petals once adorned the thrones
Crescendos through clouds take thee to thyself
The music brings thee to me on itself
