Big and small
From childhood I've had great desires
To do something the whole world admires
From my own conception what is cool
This is the list of things I would do
To decorate Great Wall with tiles
To fence the Pacific all the miles
To install an elevator for the Everest
To rim the equator from east to west
As to raise fund I don't know how
This is my new project right now
Something small from my neighborhood
From the backyard full of wood
I will train flies to wear glove
To ask mosquitos to kiss with love
To persuade mice not to run wild
and roaches to have only one child
Vanity
The world is nothing but a vanity fair
Enticement is placed side by side of a snare
Few of us won't answer its magical spell
Yet sweet dream is bound to become a nightmare
"Big and Samll" 是根据下面这个故事做的改编：
某村长一心想干一番大事业，经过周密的调查后向上级领导送了一份计划书。
1.给长城贴瓷砖
2.给赤道镶金边
3.给珠峰装电梯
4.给太平洋围栏杆
领导批示；不要好高骛远，要多做小事、实事。于是村长有经过了一番调查后，
给领导又送了一份计划书。
1.给所有的苍蝇戴上手套
2.给所有的蚊子戴上口罩
3.给所有的老鼠带上脚镣
4.给所有的蟑螂戴上避孕套
Vanity 是下面这首诗的另外一个翻译：
