                         《一》

                      四月之歌

     点评   

              爱德娜•圣文森特•米蕾 Edna St. Vincent Millay(1892─1950)  美国女诗人   冬去春来，又是四月；一如往常，满眼大地复苏、一片生机盎然的田园景象。然而，物是人非，不知爱人身在何方？描摹田园，画面鲜活生动；吟咏爱恋，情调醇厚伤感。

     一年一度又是四月,
     去年今岁毫无两样,
     低语阵阵, 叹息声声,
     污泥伴着融雪闪闪发亮;
     你钟情的苔藓又现绿意,
     你喜爱的蝴蝶四处飘荡。

     换新的屋顶木版堆在门前,
     翻修的锤声成天敲响;
     灰色啄木鸟击打钻孔,
     远近的果园匆匆忙忙;
     劳作的大人欢天喜地,
     游戏的孩童认真模仿。

     沉稳的大河水深流静,
     湍急的小溪跳跃喧嚷,
     穿过毛蕊花丛的羊群,
     沐浴日照走上山冈;
     物是人非,你在何处?
     唯一的牵挂, 不尽的惆怅。


 Song of a Second April 

April this year, not otherwise
Than April of a year ago,
Is full of whispers, full of sighs,
Of dazzling mud and dingy snow;
Hepaticas that pleased you so
Are here again, and butterflies.

There rings a hammering all day,
And shingles lie about the doors;
In orchards near and far away
The grey wood-pecker taps and bores;
The men are merry at their chores,
And children earnest at their play.

The larger streams run still and deep,
Noisyand swift the small brooks run
Among the nullein stalks the sheep
Go up the hillside in the sun,
Pensively, ─ only you are gone,
You that alone I cared to keep.

         爱米莉·伊丽莎白·狄金森 (Emily Elizabeth Dickinson,1830年12月10日－1886年5月15日) ,美国女诗人 ,诗风凝炼，比喻尖新。生前只发表过10首诗，默默无闻，死后近70年开始得到文学界的认真关注。早春时节，冬雪还不肯退避，孩子已经出来玩耍了。

              
 我的花园来了新的足迹,
 新的手指在翻动草皮;
 榆树上的行吟诗人,
 坦漏自己内心的孤凄。

 绿草上孩子重来玩耍,
 树荫下又有疲惫的睡意;
 沉思的春天悄悄回还,
 守时的冬雪仍旧不肯退避。

SPRING

NEW feet within my garden go,
New fingers stir the sod;
A troubadour upon the elm
Betrays the solitude.

New children play upon the green,
New weary sleep below;
And still the pensive spring returns,
And still the punctual snow!

          春光留不住，五月悄然退场。字里行间隐含的叹息“谁能留住春光？”在这里做了直接表达。
                                                      
 五月的白云明亮，
 阴笼半面池塘。
 绿宝石般的海湾，
 静卧远方；
 高高的芦苇，
 似刺刀交错，
 小鸟曾在那里歌唱。
 无人留意，
 轻风忧伤，
 五月的落花，
 随风四处飘荡，
 直到雷鸟再次呼唤，
 谁能留住春光？
 鸟与人都无能为力，
 五月悄然退场。

The pond

Bright clouds of may
Shade half the pond.
Beyond,
All but one bay
Of emerald
Tall reeds
Like crisscross bayonets
Where a bird once called,
Lies bright as the sun.
No one heeds.
The light wind frets
And drifts the scum
Of may-blossom.
Till the moorhen calls
Again
Naught’s to be done
By birds or men.
Still the may falls.

                正如中国的俗语所说“一年之计在于春，一日之计在于晨”。新起点，新开端，世界和谐太平。                                   
一年正值新春，
一日正值清辰，
清辰正值七点，
山坡露珠晶莹；
晴空云雀翻飞，
荆条蜗牛爬行：
上帝司职天堂，
世界和谐太平！

The Year's at the Spring

The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn:
God's in His Heaven -
All's right with the world!
