Basking Women
In the sunshine at noon
How dazzling the Spring-Under-Heaven Villa
In heaven a gold carriage gallops past
It rolls into the world’s pack
That shakes out cloths, feathers and the like
You may imagine flagpoles, flicking national flags
Imagine wind, hopping birds, growing wings in lines
The bird’s words I never know
Now on a yard lamp, one or two are standing, they
Bring love, or news of food
Two women of Miao Minority
Lean on each other to rest as in the farm before
Shoulder by shoulder they walk across the cropland before
Now other’s streets, wonderland of pups, flowerets and sightseers
They stop before each ash bin
To ransack something and treasure it
I know, they need indeed
Unlike the old beggars collecting money in mall
I stop not, I must
Go ahead straight
Behind me they’re made part of the sea
Dissolved in golden bubble

正午阳光下的
泉天下别墅*多么耀眼
天上有金马车驰过
滚落人间的包袱里
会抖出布片、羽毛一类的东西
你可以想象旗杆、飘扬的万国旗，
想象风、跳跃的鸟儿，一队一队长出翅膀来
鸟的语言我从来不懂
现在庭院灯上，就站着一两只，它们
带来爱，或者食物的消息？
两个苗族老妇
倚靠着休息，像从前在田间那样。
并肩走过曾经的农田―――如今别人的大街，
小狗们、小花朵和游客们的神仙地
在每一个垃圾箱前停下
翻捡出什么，又珍藏起什么
我知道，她们是真的需要
不像商业街口敛财的老乞丐
我没有停下，我必须
一直向前
他们就在身后成为那海洋的一部分
在金色的气泡中慢慢融化
