车邻

Prophecy　
At the end of the year the stars go out  
the air stops breathing and the Sibyl sings
first she sings of the darkness she can see
she sings on until she comes to the age
without time and the dark she cannot see
no one hears then as she goes on singing
of all the white days that were brought to us one by one
that turned to colors around us
a light coming from far out in the eye
where it begins before she can see it
burns through the words that no one has believed

在岁月的尽头，星子黯淡
空气停止呼吸，女预言家西比尔唱起了歌
首先她唱她看到的黑暗之歌
一直坚持到这样的年龄
失去了时间，也看不到黑暗
继续唱啊唱，那时没有人在听
但歌声带给我们一个个白色的日子
并化作了周围的色彩
一道来自遥远眼睛深处的光线
在她看到它之前，它开始在那里闪耀
烧穿无人相信的话

Sibyl，古代希腊、罗马的女预言家

空气停止呼吸，女预言家西比尔唱起了歌
-----------------------因为是“the stars go out  ”，所以我觉得“the air”是在指“天空，宇宙”，而不是“空气”；第二个是“the Sibyl ”的翻译，音译过来就可以了，不必写“女预言家”，因为这样显得很拖沓，并且文末已经标注了；第三是，英文诗歌每行起头字母一般都是大写（好像是个习惯，虽然也有英文诗人有另外的习惯）：）
