翻译随笔

       第一次听到Million Years Ago这首歌时，内心就产生了翻译的冲动。歌曲旋律采用黯淡的小调，向听众倾诉对逝去时光的追忆与不舍。歌曲旋律是否符合译入语受众审美习惯是译成汉语后能否传唱的基础性环节，也是译者进行文本选择首先应考虑的要素。其次，中文歌词的译写若能始终遵循“统摄原意另铸新词”原则，时刻注重歌词画面感的营造，才能进一步在译入语受众中激发共鸣。拙译将let my heart decide the way译为“任心灵指引我方向”，I wish I could live a little more译为“多希望生命再开扇窗”，I miss my mother译为“留恋妈妈怀里的香”，They can't look me in the eye. It's like they're scared of me译为“期盼故友再相认，眼神却难碰撞”等等，都在时刻秉持这一翻译原则。
