Red Building of Peking University

The edifice where in shadows of air is folding,

Cricket's chirp audible for nearly a mile.

Roving violet dream of the Dark Knight hence.

Being transported to those yonder days,

Spirits are moving to well-tuned words.

Passion and mishap as pebbles lost their colors,

The rusty spots upon the shaggy map.

To explain each relic is a crisp narration as well.

White Chloris floats on silenced wall,

With a long-buried luster on her lips.

Notes:

"Red Building": Located in Beijing's Dongcheng District,the Red Building was established in 1918 and was part of the former campus of Peking University. It is now the Memorial Hall of the New Culture Movement.

"Dark Knight": Directed by Christopher Nolan. With Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine."The Dark Knight" is a haunted film that leaps beyond its origins and becomes an engrossing tragedy. It creates characters we come to care about.

"Well-Tuned Words": Well-Tuned Words has culled the more unaffected ayres of these composers and complements them with solid, conventional performances. Little interpolated ornamentation and unusual vocal color or lute technique is present. Erik Ryding provides strong support with a clear, smooth rhythmic profile.

"Relic": The Red Building is no dusty relic of the past, though a visitor might be forgiven for thinking that when viewing the historic classrooms, reading room and library. The events of May 1919, and the ideas they helped to spread, still reverberate in China today.

"Chloris": Chloris was the goddess of flowers, and when she talks, her breath smells of spring and fresh flowers. Sometimes she even breathes spring roses and gets the scent of it. She also can manipulate nature, as a magical nature nymph.
