海外逸士简介：
        
    海外逸士，原籍上海。双语作家及双语诗人﹐自幼愛好文學，特好詩詞。其專業是英文。現居美國﹐为美国新州文心社成员﹐纽约诗词学会会员﹐全美神秘小说作家协会会员﹐加州好莱坞名诗人俱乐部荣誉诗人（后两者乃英文的）。并已名列美国国会图书馆出版之全美名人录2003年後各版中。已出版之中文著作有《新西游记》﹑《荒唐女侠》及报章杂志上各类文章诗歌。其英文著作有USEFUL STRATEGIES IN EVERYDAY LIFE、EMPRESS DOWAGER CIXI、KUNGFU MASTERS、EMPRESS WU THE GREAT等，英文诗集POETIC GEMS，翻译著作《诗词英译》等。

A Lovely Duckling                                                   可愛的小鴨
Duckling, oh, a lovely duckling,                          小鴨，噢，可愛的小鴨
Wears a velvet blouse of yellow;                        身著黃絨衣;
Splashing in the muddy shallow,                         濺拍在淺淺的泥水中
Look, then, her new garment smearing.              瞧，不久，她的新衣污點斑斑
On the sands she plays and wallows,                 沙灘上嬉鬧打滾
Tumbling gaily in the evening.                            傍晚快樂地翻滾
After hunting for worms and roes,                       在覓食小虫和魚子后
Sleeps then, her beak under her wing.               把嘴埋在翅膀里，恬然入睡
Soft and pleasant are her quacks low                 低低的嘎嘎聲輕柔愉快
That announce the coming of Spring.                 宣告春的來臨
Free and happy, oh you, duckling,                      自由而快樂，噢是你，小鴨

There was a young man with a secret wish                  有一位年轻人带着秘密的希望
To translate Chinese into English.                                把汉语译为英文
When he found a shortage                                           当他发现一个不足
In his word storage,                                                      自己词汇量储备不够
He dived into the dictionary to fish.                               便一头扎进字典里“钓鱼”

On Mother's Day                                            母亲节颂
Oh, Mother, who gave me birth,                     噢，妈妈，你生育了我
Despite her own pain!                                    尽管你忍受了痛苦
Oh, Mother, who gave me life,                        噢，妈妈，你给了我生命
At the risk of her own!                                    冒着自己生命的危险
I didn't remember                                            我没有忘记
I grew on Mother's milk;                                  我吃着妈妈的乳汁成长
But I did remember                                          我记得
Mother lulled me to sleep                                妈妈轻哼着歌催眠我入睡
Long night after long night;                              一夜又一夜
And I did remember                                          我记得
Mother told me all the tales                              妈妈给我讲的故事
That every child listens                                     是每个孩子都会聆听的
Interested and attentive.                                   有趣而吸引人
Once I was taken seriously ill,                            一次我得了重病

A Little Brook                                                                          小溪
A little brook tumbles down the mountain.                        一条小溪翻滚下山
A narrow footpath snakes beside it,                                 一条狭道蜿蜒在旁
Which I follow, treading on the steps                                我跟随着，踏阶而下
The brook's so clear, so cool;                                          小溪清澈，凉爽
Sometimes it flows smooth.                                              有时它平缓地流动
So I take off my shoes                                                      我脱下鞋子
And dip my feet in the water.                                            赤足浸入水中
Oh, so delicious on the hot day,                                       噢，多么怡人，在热天
Like eating some ice-cream.                                             像吃冰淇淋一样
I wish I could turn into a fish                                              我希望变成一条鱼
And swim in that lucid stream!                                          在清澈的溪流里游动
I wish I could turn into a stone                                           我希望变成一块石头
That lies on the bottom                                                     躺在溪底
And let the cool current rush over me                               任由清凉的溪水冲刷

How painful I feel,                                                                            我是多么痛苦
As the Ultra-Violet rays hit me,                                                        当紫外线射中我
But I don't care about the pain,                                                       但我不在乎这痛苦
