江村晚眺

江头落日照平沙，潮退渔船阁岸斜。
白鸟一双临水立，见人惊起入芦花。

Night View in Water Village
The smooth sands on the shore bask in twilight,
As tide ebbing, fishing boats lean on the riverside.
Near the water a pair of white birds stand astride,
Into the reeds as a man startles them to take flight.

Night Vista of Water Village
The setting sun shines on shore to make sands smoother
Fishing boats recline on riverbank as the tide is ebbing
A couple of white birds stand at waterside, napping
Then suddenly fleed into weeds when disturbed by a fisher
【无心剑译本】
Viewing Jiangcun at Nightfall
At the riverbank, the setting sun shines upon the sand,
When tide ebbs, on the shore the fishing boats recline.
By the water a couple of white birds gracefully stand,
Startled by fishermen, fly into the reed catkins so fine.
