A gust of fresh breeze, Gulls flying to their shelters, Anti-wave fishes skip in the caves. Currents emerging from the half-light. Tumbledown brownstones like heaven's flax. A singular apparitions eyes as stars of twilight fair. With something of angelic shot, The montage that never fails to thrill her. Sounds from the blades where the whirlpools break, Liquid turtle is carried down into gloom.
Gone under its tidal sheet. Its wonders are many its secrets not few. Someone returns in circles of silver, As long range laser sonar, Stamping an image of the scene. The meteor and the beaming comet, Look serene above the bridge. Lingering until upon the brain, It's coded silence set inside a crystal cage, Breath from unpromising waves.
A suspense from pleasure and from pain. What an imaginary place, Drips falling in steady rhythm well. Rising from the waters, Emissaries begin the clockwork turn. Nesting in the silence, In a splendid hollow for a while. Fading into the air again, And be as if the people have not been.

Notes: "Anti-wave fishes": Anabarilius grahami, a typical “3E” (Endangered, Endemic and Economic) fish species in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Its distribution is limited to Fuxian Lake, the nation's second deepest lake, with a significant local economic value but a drastically declining wild population. This species has been evaluated as VU (Vulnerable) in the China Species Red List. "Brownstones": Ancient underwater city and lost civilization at the bottom of Fuxian Lake. In 2005, the detected ancient city reached an area of 2.4 sq km (1 sq mi) with 8 main buildings. The most amazing one is Fuxian Lake Pyramid. This 5-storey building is 21 m (69 ft) high and the shape is like the pyramid of Maya. A stage-style building with many bronze buckles was speculated to be a Sacrificial Altar. There are many unknown things about the underwater city. Researching it will be a world-class project. "Apparition": Apparition (2019) directed by Waymon Boone.
