Well, I know it, but my point is this structure will mislead your readers, right? It is because 'adj as it is' = although it is ...blah..blah, correct?
For instance, tired as I am, I still keep working on my translation = although I am tired, ...
languished as I am does not necessarily mean though I am languished
It really means here: when I am languished, ...
you must say "so languished as I am,"

Well, you can say it really means 'when I am languished' in your version, but your readers may not interpret it in this way. Why? Becasue it can mean 'though I am languished'...so it doesn't really make its meaning crystal clear, I am afraid.
