      安妮•布拉德斯特里特(Anne Bradstreet 1612—1672)美国诗人作者是美国殖民时期第一位用英语创作的女诗人；正如这首诗所显示,诗风热烈奔放,充满人情,既有美国拓荒时代的纪实特征,又不乏浓郁的诗意。 

我俩合二为一,
我俩永结同心；
我是妻子把你深爱,
你是丈夫给我温馨。
你的爱胜过一座座金矿,
你的爱让东部的财富不值一文。
我对你的爱像大海永不干涸,
我对你的爱像江河万古长存；
你的爱就是对我最高的报偿,
你的爱我今生永难还清；
活在人间我们的爱百折不回,
离开尘世我们将获得永生。 



 To My Dear and Loving Husband

If ever two were one, then surely we．
If ever man were lov’d by wife, then thee；
If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me ye momen if you can．
I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold,
Or all the riches that the East doth hold．
My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee, give recompence．
Thy love is such I can no way repay,
The heavens reward thee manifold I pray．
Then while we live, in love lets so persever,
That when we live no more, we may live ever.
