一片冰心在玉壶。

Version 1:

A cold rain fluttered and filled the Wu River last night,
This dawn I saw you off through lonely Chu mountains.
Should my kith and kin in Luoyang ask if I am all right,
Tell them that in a jade pot my pure heart still remains.

Version 2:

A cold rain mingled with the Wu River last night,
I saw you off through lonely Chu hills this morn.
Should my friends in Luoyang ask if I am all right,
Tell them in a jade pot my pure heart remains lorn.

No offence at all, but want to learn more from 无心君  


moun/tain ----> re/main (eye rhyming?)

morn --->lorn (perfect) however,

lorn = desolate, forlorn, abandoned

一片冰心在玉壶”到底是什么意思呢？
