Inspired by Wuxin's and Pujing's version, I also give it a try with bends and twists, hehehe, just for fun only...heheh, so you guys have to bear with me...hahaha, in fact, it is my maiden poem in English.
《How could I possibly fall in love with thee?》
Thou strut with thy nose on thy hairy head,
Talking like a machine gun in a hot fight.
Drinking as if thou would never be dead,
Towering over me with thy daunting height.
Fate has somehow brought thee to my side,
Thy funny jokes besot me beyond my ken,
I chase thee and beg thee to be my bride,
Thou finally consent to be my lovely hen.
How could I possibly fall in love with thee?
Such an abusively cocky beauty on earth,
Perhaps thou have never ever loved me,
Yet I'm completely smitten by thy mirth.
What now has choked me to death is thy grip,
For thou need prick forever till I'm a drip. |
