A Winter Night

Only hot tea as wine for my visitor on a winter night,
As the bamboo-stove* spits red fire to boil the water.
Nothing unusual before the window is the moonlight,
But in company with the plum blooms we feel greater.  
Only hot tea as wine for my visitor = I regale my visitor with hot tea in lieu of wine, another word, there's only tea available in host's house.
Bamboo-stove = bamboo-skinned stove / a stove covered by bamboo-skin / bamboo-shell-stove / a mud-pot wrapped by bamboo

1。A cold night?
从字面意思来看 A cold night 来对‘寒夜’- ‘一个寒冷的夜晚’，这似乎没啥错呀，可是，当对原文再作进一步理解时就会发现问题。诗人所说的‘寒夜’是指一个寒冬的夜晚，而非‘一个寒冷的夜晚’。因为任何一个季节都可能会出现‘一个寒冷的夜晚’。
好，再次感谢金沙文学提出的疑问。
2。the bamboo stove?
译者也不太明白这‘竹炉’到底是什么样的一种火炉。查了一下据说是一种外包竹壳的烧炭瓦罐。 bamboo-stove 是根据字面意思直译，虽然作了进一步的解释，但仍存歧义。如果将其翻为‘a mud-pot covered / wrapped / by bamboo' 太长了，不合适，吃掉‘竹’光翻‘炉’，简短也容易，可是对原文就不够忠实，请问各位看官有何良策呢？

To boil water I make fire in the bamboo-stove soon.
Shining before the window it is still the usual moon,
But the plum blossoms make us feel unusual delight.

Yet with the plum blooms it looks unusually greater.  
Tonight's cold yet I regale my guest with tea as wine,
The stove turns red to boil the water in a bamboo-pot.
Afore the window  as usual the moon comes to shine,
But with the plum blossoms all seems different a lot.
