【汉英双语】惩 罚( Punishment )

【前言：邻居一个28岁的青年，刚从英国留学回国工作不久，
因母亲干涉其婚姻开煤气自杀。听着那母亲的悲号，痛心之余颇多感慨……】

         惩  罚

就这样离去，你如何能够忍心？
你怎么可以，这样轻易地放弃？
抛下你白发的双亲，还有爱人，
听着她们的悲泣你是否会颤栗？
你本可以无畏命运，与之抗争，
本来还有机会迎娶你爱的娇妻，
但是你却选择扼杀自己的生命，
还把一锋利刃插在你娘亲心里！
没有什么比这惩罚更残忍狠毒，
从今往后，她活着就像在地狱，
你应该清楚那撕心裂肺的痛楚
将会攫住她余生的每一次呼吸!
如今，她只想告诉你她的悔意：
儿啊！无论你要娶谁娘都依你！

How could you have the heart  to go this way?
How could you give up rashly like this so ？
Puting your girl and grey-haired parents away,
Will you shake to hear them wailing in sorrow ?
You might have fought against your fate head to head,
And had a chance to marry your sweet heart,
But you chose to end your own life instead,
Like sticking a dirk in your poor mum's heart!
Things can't be more cruel than such a torture,
From now on, she exists just like in hell.
You should know the heart-rending grief will capture
Her each breath fast in rest of her years well !

Now, she just wants to tell remorse for thee:
No matter whom you wed, son, I agree.
How could /you have /the heart /to go?/ this way（10）
How could /you give/ up ra/shly like/ this so ？（10）

呵呵，很高兴在这里见到卧龙！多多指点哈，对英诗的音部和抑扬格我也不是很有把握，正在学习中{:soso_e100:}

木樨黄谷

中诗流畅，感人。但译文音步不整饬，严格说来第二行是11音节，可以算作5音步，但第三行13音节，怎么都得算6音步。音步是以重读音节和非重读音节划分的，差不多是一个元音一个。后面很多都超过5个重读音节，不算5音步了。
喜欢英诗的话建议樱娘阅读罗良功的《英诗概论》，以你的诗才，定可以事半功倍
