下江陵
Downstream to Jiangling

朝辞白帝彩云间，
千里江陵一日还，
两岸猿声啼不住，
轻舟已过万重山。
At dawn I left Baidi Town in rosy clouds flying,
Jiangling so far away can be reached in one day.
The apes on both banks of the river keep crying,
Across thousands of hills my boat's sailed away.

One day is needed to reach far-away Jiangling.
The apes on both banks keep crying in thrills,
My boat has sailed beyond thousands of hills.
