【汉英对照】《中国现当代名诗英译一百首》（1—30首）

诗歌导读：刘半农先生于1920年在伦敦时写了一首白话诗《教我如何不想她》，1926年赵元任先生将此诗谱曲，在30年代中国青年知识分子中广泛流行。这首诗歌还首创了“她”字。据说，诗中的“她”，是中国文字的首创，以前的中国汉字中并没有‘她’字。结果，立即受到守旧者的反对。但由于好用，受到大家的欢迎，以后字典也收录了这个字。

叫我如何不想她

天上飘着些微云，
地上吹着些微风。
啊！
微风吹动了我头发，
教我如何不想她？

月光恋爱着海洋，
海洋恋爱着月光。
啊！
这般蜜也似的银夜，
教我如何不想她？

水面落花慢慢流，
水底鱼儿慢慢游。
啊！
燕子你说些什么话？
教我如何不想她？

枯树在冷风里摇。
野火在暮色中烧。
啊！
西天还有些儿残霞，
教我如何不想她？

诗歌导读：20年代的中国社会已经存在着严重的阶级矛盾。《相隔一层纸》鲜明地体现着阶级意识，反映着贫富悬殊和阶级差别。

相隔一层纸

刘半农

屋子里拢着炉火，
老爷吩咐开窗买水果，
说：“天气不冷火太热，
别任它烤坏了我。 ”

屋子外躺着一个叫化子，
咬紧了牙齿对着北风喊“要死!”
可怜屋外与屋里，
相隔只有一层薄纸!

Separated by a piece of paper

The lord requests to open windows and buy fruit,
Saying: “it is not cold, but the fire is too hot.
Do not let it fry up me! ”

A beggar is lying outdoors
Gnashing his teeth and facing the north wind

Only separated by a piece of thin paper

我为少男少女们歌唱

何其芳

我为少男少女们歌唱。
我歌唱早晨，
我歌唱希望，
我歌唱那些属于未来的事物
我歌唱正在生长的力量。

我的歌呵，
你飞吧，
飞到年轻人的心中
去找你停留的地方。

所有使我像草一样颤抖过的
快乐或者好的思想，
都变成声音飞到四方八面去吧，
不管它像一阵微风

呼唤

饶孟侃

有一次我在白杨林中，

听到亲切的一呼唤；

那时月光正望着翁仲，

翁仲正望着我看。

再听不到呼唤的声音，

我吃了一惊, 四面寻找；--

翁仲只是对月光出神，

月光只对我冷笑。

The Call

Once, I am in poplar woods,

Hearing a cordial call.

Then, moonlight watching stone statues*

Stone statues* watching me.

When no longer hearing sound of the call,-

Surprised, I look around.

Stone statues at a loss in moonlight.

Moonlight only sneers at me.

*People in old China were used to setting up stone statues in two lines before the tomb.
