莲心哪若诗心苦
兰梦不如蝶梦长
竹展百姿摇雅韵
花开千态秀春光

The Beautiful Spring Scenery

How can there be the lotus plumule bitterer
than the poetic mind

The orchid’s dream isn’t longer
than the butterfly’s dream

Bamboos showing a hundred postures
shake their elegant rhymes

Flowers blooming in a thousand states
show the spring scenery

声声杜宇千竹泪

Spring And Autumn

Seemingly merciless
deliberately drunken
In fact the parting dream
mostly hurts spring

Puffs of the autumn wind
gold all over the ground
Sounds of the cuckoos
tears of a thousand bamboos

梅花三弄春光好
鄉夢幾縈秋月明
寸土尺金迷紙醉
飛沙走石破天驚

The Spring Sceneries And The Autumn Moon

The plum flowers show three times
the spring sceneries are nice
The home dreams a few times
the autumn moon is bright

Land is extremely valuable
live an extravagant life
Flying sand and rolling pebbles
the breaking of rock frightens the sky

人閑美酒一盞書一卷
室雅清茶三壺竹三竿
心有千千結何物能解
物無兩兩好衹心可安

Mood

A man is leisurely
with a cup of good wine
a book
A house is elegant
with three bamboos
three pots of clear tea

A heart has thousands of knots
what can untie them?
There are not two good things
a heart can be well only
