Great！I just could not find the right word and thank you for your input as ever. You see, no use for long of a language always makes you forget the basic.

hehehe, yep, dead right, if you don't use it, you will lose it.
the sentence highlighted in red sounds pretty Chinglish indeed, hehehe, but it doesn't trouble me at all, hehehe

Why not just say 'long time no use of that language make me forget its basics' :Z

No use of something for long is quite coloqiual. Long time no see or no use is usually used by the black.
