That is a great idea to rhyme neon lights with delight with night, but how to deal with bund? let me just think it over and get you informed of my final version.

hehehe, buddy, you are quite right about 'sand', yes, quite often / usually, the plural form refers to beach, but it is quite ok to use singular to mean the same thing.
For instance, we went for a walk along the sand (example given by OALD)
