无心剑

泛舟
Sailing
译海泛轻舟，
美景不胜收。
东西路漫漫，
古今情悠悠。
Sailing on the ocean of translation for rest,
I enjoy infinite beauty to my heart's content.
The way is so long between east and west,
The love is so deep from antiquity to present.

译于2009年10月16日。

Sailing on the sea of translation for play,
I drink in the pretty scenery so abundant.
Between east and west I walk a long way,
With deep love from antiquity to present.

【自娱自乐译本】
Rowing on the ocean of translation for relaxation,
The yearning for beauty of it has never ceased.
Albeit a long distance between west and east,
For acient and modern literature I have a passion.
Sailing smoothly on the high sea of translation,
Terrific beauty of which goes on without cessation.
Betwen east and west the cultural distance is long,
Yet love for their old and new arts is always strong.

【天路客译本】
As sailing by canoe on ocean I translate
There is more beauty than I can appreciate
It is a long way from east  to west for a pilgrim
And long love from past to present

I sail in translation my boat so light
Yet fully filled with views of gorgeous sight.
From east to west I love my road so long,
That melts all ages old and new in my song.

第三句的“东西”还有一层指东西文化，英文里面没能表达出来

和无心君探讨
r/est - w/est = perfect
Yet, con/tent - pre/sent = ? I reckon it has to depend on its pronunciation as well as function.
present v. (pr?-z?nt') that rhymes with content regardless, whereas present adj. or n. (preznt), it dosen't seem to be.
eye rhyming?
