1) 我不用HEAVEN是為了押韻。SKY前不加THE是為了少個音節。
2) 度量單位如用英譯﹐怕外國人搞不清﹐所以常用外國度量單位代用。不過數字沒
必要改動。
3)  here 'allow' means 'enable' 。是字典裡有這個用法﹐還是正規出版物中有
這用法﹖
4) one man's meat is another man's posion。那是在沒有限定的情況下。現在已
經有原文限定意思。要吃只有這塊肉﹐不會變毒的。
5) i like to do whatever i like, got it?現在年青人總想為所欲為﹐在別處不
能做到﹐只能在這種安全係數高的地方。因為亂譯一氣是不犯法的。可怕的心態。

6) HEAVENLY一詞﹐我是表示同意FIREFLY的看法。與我們討論無關。

呵呵呵，为了少个音节，你就可以随便更改英语语法的规定？英文词典里明文规定 -- We usually say "the sky". When 'sky' is used with an adjective, use 'a...sky'.You can also use the plural form 'skies'.

You and firefly all deem to use "heaven", in that context or under that circumstance,is way better than sky, right? No problems at all, I totally agree with you both, however, one has to change in terms of the situation. Exactly as you said, in order to rhyme, you felt it is better to use 'sky' than 'heaven',though.

你这是强词夺理！为什么不可以呢？In fact, what the author meant to say is the building is so high that it allows / enables him to reach the stars as he stands on it.
