Swordsman
十年磨寒锋，
一朝镇诸侯。
功成隐何处，
勿使君王愁。
I've been honing my sword for one decade;
One day I'll conquer leuds with its cold blade.
After success it hides from the monarch's sight,
Simply to set his mind at rest day and night.

孤枕难成眠，
双鬓染雪丝。

On a desolate pond shines the moonlight,
On the chilly branch perches a dark crow.
Loneliness drowns me in sleepless night,
The hair on both temples turns into snow.

Let Me Speak My Mind

为赋新词酒一杯，
思接千载似流水。
梦与古人舞蹁跹，
此生清贫终不悔。

To compose a new poem I drink a cup of wine,
My thoughts go through the ages like a stream.
Leading a life in honest poverty would feel fine,
If I could dance with ancient poets in my dream.

心随太白舞，遥闻风入松。
素月冷千山，美酒醉长空。
诗仙壮思飞，酒痴豪气冲。
清波弄扁舟，何须辨西东。

With Tai Bai my heart dances in the air;
Afar I hear the wind blow through pines.
The moon coldly watches hills everywhere;
The vast sky gets intoxicated in good wines.
Poetry Immortal's lofty aspirations fly high;
Wine Enthusiast's heroism soars with flare.
The small boat rocks in the waves so clear;
Towards east or west, I really need not care.

With Li Bai's poems my heart dances to height,
Afar I hear wind blow through waves of pine.
Thousands of hills are chilled by the moonlight,
The boundless sky gets drunk in good wine.

No matter west or east, I will always feel fine.
